SHARP EIT THE ALL-STAR MILE
Quality throughout in the All-Star Mile. We're siding with TOM KITTEN (1) who comes here fresh off a dynamic first up win at Caulfield. He had to really knuckle down and charge home to beat a well-ridden Feroce, the late splits saying he's come back as well as ever. He won this last year and can sit off a fast or slow speed which is key. TREASURETHE MOMENT (10) looked to be travelling as the winner first up in the G1 Futurity Stakes, feeling the pinch late at $1.90 to finish third. Two ways to look at that, but fancy she'll be better here ridden with a sit and the added fitness. PRIDE OF JENNI (8) is, as usual, the unknown. She beat Treasure in the G2 Feehan first up in the Spring, it all depends on how far they let her get in front. As a rising 9yo, can she keep returning and doing what she does? BUCKAROO (2) was excellent fresh in the Futurity and will be charging home. ANTINO (3) can do much better second up in a faster race.
