BUCCLEUCH (1) resumes here. He looked a very progressive 2yo over the Winter which culminated in a dominant win in the Taj Rossi Final, backed into $1.45 there with 59kg. He's been kept on ice since that win and kicks off here in a BM70 which he's no doubt up to winning. 59.5kg after a 3kg claim is no easy feat against some progressive horses right down in the weights, but he is the class. SASS APPEAL (8) gets in very light after her claim. She won well at Seymour at $1.85 last time out and will be very hard to beat again. JEWEL BANDIT (2) has been big odds in both starts but proved the punters wrong with solid wins. To 1400m now should be okay, don't expect $21 or $41 this time. THE VOLTA (4) is racing well and maps for a very soft run just behind the speed. OUR JUSTIFY (10) won her maiden well at Mornington last time and can improve again to 1400m.

Resuming after a six-and-a-half months break. Not seen since winning to post a big 3.5 len win. This track LR G'cmichael July 5 over 1600m slow track defeating Bermondsey with 59kg at $1.45. On debut sixth of 10 at Pakenham 2yo Mdn-Sw April 24 over 1000m, 4.5 len behind Latin Boss carrying 58kg at $26. Classy type who may well prove too good for thee.
Yet to taste defeat in two starts. On debut, won by a long-neck at Cranbourne Mdn-Sw December 12 over 1000m defeating Gwen's Girl carrying 58kg at $21. Last start ran on from midfield and won by 0.5 len at Geelong 3yo Hcp January 3 over 1100m defeating Frostnip carrying 54kg at $41. Racing well. Impossible to knock, deserves more market respect this time.
Dual acceptor. Claiming his maiden victory on debut; raced right near the speed and boxed on; won by a neck at Yarra Valley Mdn-Sw December 29 over 1209m defeating Mosquito Award with 58kg at $13. Might find this too rich.
Form hard to fault. At the latest run 2nd of 9 at Cranbourne 3yo Bm70 on December 27 over 1400m, 1.3 len behind Davida with 56kg at $5.50. The run before that won by 0.8 len at Cranbourne Cl1 December 12 over 1200m defeating Les Braves carrying 55.5kg at $5. Going well and maps for a soft run.

Second run from a spell ran on strongly from last on the turn; 4th of 9 at Cranbourne 3yo Bm70 on December 27 over 1400m, 2.25 len behind Davida carrying 54kg at $51. Rough hope.

Second-up favourite; won by 1.3 len at Seymour 3yo Mdn-Sw December 28 over 1400m defeating Forever Jo with 56kg at $1.85. Looks progressive and gets a lot of weight off key dangers.
At the latest run favourite; scored a big 4.5 len win at Burrumbeet Mdn-Sw January 1 over 1350m defeating Yankee Street Rain with 56kg at $2.15. Before that 11th of 13 at Sandown-Lakeside 3yo F Mdn-Sw on December 10 over 1200m, 8 len behind Karren carrying 57kg at $51. This looks too tough.

Last start favourite; won by 1.0 len at Mornington Mdn-Sw December 23 over 1200m defeating Silver Bullet carrying 56kg at $2.80. On the up and should acquit herself well.
Third race start today. At debut, 7th of 12 at Terang Mdn-Sw on December 16 over 1200m, 4.5 len behind Bazzar with 56kg at $6. Second-up favourite; won by 1.75 len at Stawell Mdn-Sw January 4 over 1300m defeating Bertrand carrying 56kg at $2.60. Up a fair way in grade, place best.
