On weights and measures, it looks another ideal race for HARRY'S YACHT (2) who continued his good form this campaign with a nice win at Geelong in BM84 company last time out. He drops 4kg off that and gets in well, just rising to 1600m for the first time is an unknown, but he should get every chance to run it out here. RESET THE JAZZ (3) was off a freshen in the Coastal Classic at Geelong last time and tried hard in third. He can strip fitter here and prove hard to get by. JIMMY THE BEAR (1) has to concede all of these 7kg. That's no easy feat, but he is the class of this field. Two runs back have been just okay, albeit in better company than this, and he gets to his pet trip now. SOMEWHERE (5) was well ridden on speed to score here last time, dropping 4kg off that. He's handy but did look short in early betting when opening equal favourite. MERRIGOLD (4) is unknown at this trip but going well.

Second run from a spell second last of 9 at this track in the LR Kensington on December 31 over 1400m, 5.5 len behind Zou Sensation with 60kg at $21. Up to best trip now and is the class, but has to give them all 7kg.
Recent form sound. At the latest run favourite; raced right near the speed and boxed on; won by 0.5 len at Geelong Bm84 January 3 over 1400m defeating Ndola carrying 58kg at $2.50. The race before that raced on speed throughout when 3rd of 8 at Cranbourne Vg Carat on December 27 over 1200m, 1.2 len behind Steel Move carrying 59kg at $2. Well placed again down in the weights here, just needs to see the trip out.
At the latest run held ground to the line 3rd of 7 at Geelong Coastal Classic on January 3 over 1700m, long-neck behind Precious Charm carrying 53kg at $5.50. The start before that second last of 10 at Wodonga Wodonga Cup on November 28 over 1590m, 16 len behind Morning Darling with 58.5kg at $3.20. Good last time and will be hard to get by.
Racing well recently. Last start made some head-way from midfield; 3rd of 12 at Geelong F&M Bm74 on January 3 over 1400m, 1.5 len behind Davida with 58.5kg at $8. The race before that 4th of 11 at Pakenham Vgold Bullion on December 13 over 1400m, 1.5 len behind Persian Spirit with 54kg at $101. Going well and has each way claims.

The race before that 4th of 11 at Ballarat Bm74 on December 6 over 1600m, on a slow track; 6 len behind Sneaky Sunrise with 59.5kg at $7. Nice ride and win last time, can measure up.

Previously second-up 11th of 15 at Sandown-Hillside F&M Bm74 on June 14 over 1600m, on a slow track; 6 len behind Until Valhalla with 60kg at $10. Solid return, not out of this.
