Race Preview

Looks another good race for SAINT GEORGE (2). He'd been building nicely into the Ballarat Cup two back but the track was very shifty that day and a few horses struggled. He went back to this grade at Cranbourne and travelled beautifully, getting the run up the fence and bursting away to win by 2.25 lengths. He's still progressive and looks destined for better races. BERKELEY SQUARE (1) won said Ballarat Cup, going back to back with a big sweeping run. 62kg here and likely to get back off a different race shape are the knocks. PRECIOUS CHARM (5) is flying this time in, winning the Coastal Classic at Geelong last time out. She's a winner at 2000m and will be up on speed. DARKBONEE (12) is a progressive 4yo who has won two in a row. He drops 8kg off last start but this is much harder. SHAIYHAR (6) mixes his form but his best figures are at the Flemington 2000m and he could show up today.
